Mission and Vision

THE VISION of Cambridge Study Center is to serve a broad and diverse Body of Christ in which the radical nature of the Gospel is applied to the educational endeavors of our churches, our families and our schools in such a way that all of life is lived to the glory of our Creator God.

THE MISSION of Cambridge Study Center is to provide Christian leadership for our communities by offering culture engaging educational options for high school, college and adult students. To accomplish that mission, Cambridge Study Center will endeavor to:

INTRODUCE each student to the history of ideas, demonstrating that ideas have consequences.

CONVINCE each student that absolute truth is all encompassing and therefore interdisciplinary.

TRAIN each student to think carefully and articulate his thoughts precisely.

EQUIP each student with a basic interdisciplinary critical vocabulary.

ASSIST each student in developing and applying a Christian worldview that is clear and consistent.

ARM each student against destructive worldviews by teaching discernment.

ESTABLISH in each student a love for reading great books and discussion of books and the arts.

ENCOURAGE each student to be an enthusiastic lifelong self-educator.

To be a witness does not consist in engaging in propaganda, nor even in stirring people up, but in being a living mystery. It means to live in such a way that one’s life would not make sense if God did not exist.
~ Cardinal Emmanuel Suhard
